Delete Temporary Internet Files in Internet Explorer Open Internet Explorer. Select Tools (the gear icon). Select Safety Delete browsing history. In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, clear all the check boxes except for the Temporary internet files and website files check box.
In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, point to Safety, and then select Delete browsing history. Choose the types of data or files you want to remove from your PC, and then select Delete.
To do this you need to go to Tools Internet Options. Click OK to delete cookies. Next click on Delete Files and click OK to delete temporary files. You can also delete your history of visited Web sites, which are Web sites that you have visited that show up in your drop down address bar.
To do so, simply press the Win + E keys on the keyboard. Then, right-click on the address bar or Address Bar, then click Delete History or Delete History. This should be enough to clear all your search history data in the File Explorer application.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Del to open the Clear browsing data window. Select All time from the drop-down. Click Clear now to clear your temporary internet files.
Open Internet Explorer. Click on the Tools (Via the Gear Icon), chose Safety and then chose Delete browsing history. Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.
Remove temporary internet files through the Control Panel Select Control Panel, then Network and Internet, then Internet Options, then Delete browsing history and cookies. Click Delete under Browsing History.
