How to Remove Annotations from a PDF on iPhone Open the PDF document in Highlights. Tap the PDF you want to open in the Highlights document browser: Tap on the annotation you want to remove. This will bring up the annotation popover: Tap the trash button in the annotation popover.
Delete text in PDF Once you have the file open, select the Text Box which is the second icon on the left on the top navigation bar. All editable text will appear on the PDF document in blue boxes.
