heres a tutorial under Windows 10 on how to change the file type Association so for example heres a file its a JPEG and if I double click on it its opening with fast own image viewer okay lets see I want to remove that Association so that JPEG files will no longer open with that program to do that lets go to start button with the right click so right click the start button and click on run okay in this window type in rag edit thats from registry editor and click OK now lets go to this path its H hkey current user so H key current user double click on it then software and Microsoft simply press the s and it should jump to software double click on it m for Microsoft and M Microsoft ok then Windows and current version W for Windows and current version and then Explorer and file X yes extensions so Explorer double click on it and file X yes ok and in this list look for the file extension that you want to change for using for example in this case is JPEG jpg so lets browse to je P
