Johnson provides a basic tutorial on creating a txt file on a Mac system. He opens TextEdit, creates a new file, changes the format to plain text, saves it as a txt file on the desktop, and sets the encoding to default. This results in a successfully saved txt file.

Open TextEdit: Click on the Finder icon on the dock, select Applications, and then find TextEdit and double-click on it. Create a new document: Click on the File menu and select New or use the keyboard shortcut Command + N. Enter text: Type your text into the document window.
Edit a sent message in iOS 16 and later Touch and hold the message you want to edit. Tap Edit.
To edit a message in the Messages app on your Mac, you must: Control-click or right-click the message you want to edit within 15 minutes after youve sent it. Click on Edit from the context menu. Make the changes and select the Checkmark icon.
When Enable Messages in iCloud is turned on, your Mac will automatically be updated. However, if you want to make sure youre seeing the most up-to-date messages on your Macfor example, if you just switched to a new Macyou can click Sync Now. Note: You can also choose this option in iCloud settings.
In the Messages app on your Mac, select a conversation with the message you want to edit. Control-click the message, then choose Edit (or press Command-E).
If you want to use a graphical text editor, use TextEdit (in Launchpad). Otherwise, use one of the command-line editors included with macOS: Nano nano is a simple command-line editor. Its a good introduction to using a command-line editor because it includes easy-to-follow on-screen help.
On your Android device, go to a conversation and touch and hold your message. Tap Edit. Make your changes. Tap Send .
