That means that the file is still a PDF file, but that Firefox is just the default reader in Windows. You can press the Change button on that window and select Acrobat as the reader and that should set the default reader back to Acrobat.
Press the Choose File button, select a PDF, and click Open. Now you can get started editing your PDF. Press the Highlight button on the toolbar. Then hold the mouses left button and drag a yellow box over the text you need to highlight in the open document.
Highlight PDF Using a Chrome Extension the Glasps Chrome extension. Create and log in to your Glasp account. Open a PDF in Chrome and click the Glasp icon. Select the highlight tool, choose a color, and highlight text. Find all your highlights and annotations on your Glasp home page.
Create a highlight Open the PDF in Firefox. Select the text you want to highlight, then click the highlight icon that appears below your selection, or right click to find the highlight option in the context menu. Click the icon in the top right to freehand highlight sections of the PDF.
Click on Tools in the main toolbar, or press Alt+T. Select PDF Download - Options from the Tools drop-down menu. In the new window, select Open PDF from the list of options under Default action on the General tab. Click the PDF opening tab (or press Ctrl+Tab once), and then select the Use OS default viewer option.
If you need to add stuff to a PDF document, now you can do that online with Firefox. Open the PDF in Firefox and click the Text or Draw buttons in the upper right corner to make changes to your document. Download the file to save it with your changes.
If you press Ctrl + Shift + L when some text is selected, it will be highlighted as in the screenshot. If you press Ctrl + Shift + : , then all highlighted snippets on the page will be copied to the clipboard.
