How to Change a Date on a PDF File Open the PDF in PDF Pro. Press the Edit tab, then press the Edit text button. Click on the date you want to edit. Make your edits, then click anywhere else on the screen, or press [esc] on your keyboard, to exit the text editor. Save the changes to your PDF.
A files last modified date refers to the date and time that a file is last written to. Typically, a file is modified or written to when a user opens and then saves a file, regardless of whether any data is changed or added to the file.
Click where you want to insert the date or time. In the Categories box, select Date and Time. In the Field names box, select CreateDate, PrintDate, or SaveDate. In the Date formats box, select the date and time format that you want for example, 2/12/2017 9:45 PM or 12 February 2017.
To edit the date, click the gray box, type a new date, and then click outside the box. To change the date back to the current date, click the date field and click Update. Note: If you manually change the date and then save and close your document, the next time the document is opened, Word will show the current date.
To change the creation date on Word document settings, select the File Properties tab and check the box next to Modify File Date and Time Stamps. The dates are located below, and you can manually change the creation date and, if desired, the date and times of edits and modifications.
Right-click the current time and select the option to Adjust Date/Time. Choose the option to Change Date and Time and input the new information in the time and date fields. Press OK to save your changes and then open the file you want to change.
Revised Date Go to the spot in your footer where you want this date. Type Revised and press space. On the Insert tabText sectionQuick Parts drop down, select Field. In the Field Window, pull down the Categories menu to Date and Time. Select SaveDate (the last time the document was saved or revised).
