Launch Acrobat. Go into the Tools menu and select Redact. Choose the blue button labeled Select a file and locate your PDF. Select the redaction type you need from the Mark For Redaction dropdown menu.
Heres how to hide the sensitive text of a PDF on iPhone or iPad for free: Open the Files app and tap the PDF to open it. Tap the Markup button. Tap the plus icon Add Shape, and select the first square option. Drag the square over the text you want to hide.
How to redact a PDF on Windows 10. Open the PDF in docHub. Choose Redact from the Tools menu. You may choose Properties under the drop down menu labeled Redact Text Images. Select the text you want to redact. To redact in bulk, select Find Text Redact under the dropdown menu labeled Redact Text Images.
Heres how to black out text in a PDF: Open your PDF in docHub. Select Tools, then Redact. Select text. Either double-click to select the text or drag to select lines of text. Apply redaction. Once youve selected the text you want to remove, click Save to apply the changes and save the document.
Check the security settings for the particular file by navigating to File Properties Security. If youre redacting a PDF authored by someone else, you can ask them to send a PDF file with the security settings disabled or ask them to redact the file.
4. Android, Using docHub Reader Open your PDF file in docHub Reader. Tap on the Edit icon in the top right corner of the screen. Select Redact Text from the list of options. Use your finger to draw a rectangle around the text or image you want to redact. Once youve drawn the rectangle, tap on Apply.
Open the PDF document that you want to redact. Tap on the Markup icon at the bottom of the screen. Tap on the Redaction tool. Use your finger to select the area that you want to redact.
