in this video ill show you how to block out or redact texts from a pdf for free without using docHub welcome to this video my name is david i hope youre well wherever you are heres the pdf i need to redact some sections from lets assume we want to redact this particular title or maybe anything else inside here so how can we do it without using docHub robot pro dc we can reduct or block out the text using an application called libreoffice draw and this is an application of covered on the channel a couple of times so ill leave a link to libreoffice the whole suite but this is libreoffice draw so what we need to do is we need to open our pdf this particular pdf file inside libreoffice lets just close it out so that we dont get conflicts that another application is using that particular pdf and then go to file open the particular pdf that we want to reduce the text or block out the text from click on open and this is our text so we want to potentially lets say redact

With the Redact tool in Acrobat, you can permanently remove text and graphics from your PDF document. First, make a copy of your PDF so you dont accidentally lose something you want to keep. Then, go into Edit Mode and follow these steps to select text or images and redact them.
Redact text and images from a PDF on PC. Launch Acrobat. Go into the Tools menu and select Redact. Choose the blue button labeled Select a file and locate your PDF. Select the redaction type you need from the Mark For Redaction dropdown menu.
Go to Tools Redact. Choose Mark for Redaction Text Images. Choose the part you want to redact and select. Once you have selected the part to redact, go to Properties and choose the Redacted Area Fill Color as None (or black to hide the content).
Choose Tools Redact. On the Edit menu, choose Redact Text Images. Select the text or image in a PDF, right-click, and select Redact. Select the text or image in a PDF, choose Redact in the floating context-menu.
Single-click on the area of highlighted text you wish to remove. A small toolbox will appear with two options, allowing you to change the color of your highlight or delete the highlight altogether. To remove your highlight, click the trash icon.
To do this, navigate to Tools and select Redact Redact Text Images Find Text Redact. This makes it easy to identify and then black out that content throughout the document.
Redaction in a PDF. Redaction permanently removes parts of text or images from a PDF file, and replaces them with black rectangles. This lets you remove sensitive information from a paragraph, table, heading, or a bitmap image. The rest of the document is unaffected, and can be viewed and printed normally.
Click on the Protect tab and select Mark for Redaction. Then go to the page where you want to hide text and select the text. You can also use the Search Redact option to search for a particular word and hide it on all pages at once.
The best way to remove redactions from a PDF. Open Acrobat Pro and select the PDF file. Click on the Edit tab at the top of the screen. Select Redact Text Images. Once you remove the redactions, the colored bars will go away, revealing the information underneath.
Remove a highlight, an underline, or a strikethrough: Control-click the text, then choose Remove item from the shortcut menu.
