Learn how to use your iPhone or iPad's text-to-speech feature to have text read out loud. You can customize settings to control speaking rate, pronunciation, and more. Use Speak selection to have your device read text in compatible apps. To enable this feature, go to Settings > Accessibility > Spoken content. You can also use Speak screen with the speech controller to access controls like speech playback and speaking rate. The ingredients needed for this tutorial are 2 tbsp sourdough starter, 600 grams flour divided, 10 grams salt, and water. Additionally, you can have your device speak the entire screen and display the speech controller for easy access to controls.

Double-click a PDF or image file to open it in the Preview app. Select one or more files, then choose File Open With Preview. To open a document in iCloud Drive, click iCloud Drive in the Finder sidebar, then double-click the PDF to open it.
Read PDF text out loud On the Apple menu, click System Preferences. On Mac running Catalina, click Accessibility Speech, then check the option Speak selected text when the key is pressed. On Mac running Big Sur, click Accessibility Spoken Content, then tick the Speak selection checkbox.
Some PDF files will be damaged during the process of downloading or sharing. If a prompt from a PDF reader tells you that the PDF file youre trying to open is damaged, try asking for the PDF file to be re-sent, or save it to your local drive before opening it. PDF reader for Mac cant open a PDF file on Mac.
Activate Read Out Loud on From the View menu. In the latest version of docHub reader click on Menu, then View. Choose Read Out Loud. Then Activate Read Out Loud (or press Shift+Ctrl+Y).
Hear your Mac read documents Hear an entire document: Choose Edit Speech Start Speaking. Hear part of a document: In a document, select the text you want to hear, then choose Edit Speech Start Speaking. Stop the speaking: Choose Edit Speech Stop Speaking.
2. Safari Wont Open PDF. In a majority of the cases, the problem is caused by old browser plugins docHub PDF Viewer and docHub PDV Viewer NPAPI. These plugins are not compatible with modern day browsers and thereby cause a disruption in your PDF viewing process.
To open PDF files stored on your computer, you can use the right-click context menu: Locate and browse for the PDF you want to view. Right-click on it. Select Open with Google Chrome. Click on Open.
