Moreover, to begin with the main part of this video, make sure you have installed UPDF on your Mac using the link in the description. Once the latest version of UPDF is downloaded on your Mac, then follow these instructions to view comments in PDF on Mac: Access UPDFs latest version on your Mac - click on the Open File option and import the PDF containing comments. Then, choose the Comment icon. Doing this will display a comment section where you can easily see all the comments that are added to your PDF file. View the annotation options by navigating to Tools Annotate and select the option you would like to use. You can also show the markup toolbar at the top by selecting View Show Markup Toolbar. Highlight, underline, draw and add notes to the document. Once you are done, make sure to save.
Open the PDF in the Preview app. If it doesnt open in Preview automatically, control-click on the PDF, scroll to Open With, and select Preview. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, select Tools, then Annotate.
After opening the PDF, move your eyes to the top right of the three dots on the function button, click on it, and select Annotations to see the comments in the PDF logo. The difference with other viewing methods is that you need to move the mouse to the comments logo to see the full comments.
The PDF is stored on your computer If the PDF youre annotating is saved on your computer (for example, in your Documents folder or on your Desktop), then youll need to open the original document to view your annotations in context. View all the notes in a PDF: Choose View Highlights and Notes (so the Highlights and Notes menu item has a tick next to it). All the notes in the document are displayed in the sidebar. Remove a note: Select the note in the sidebar, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
How to View All Annotations in a PDF on Mac Open the PDF document in Highlights. From the menu bar choose File Open. Click on the Show Notes button in the top right corner of the toolbar.
To comment on specific text, select Highlight Text from the dropdown menu. Highlight the text that you would like to comment on, then right-click on the highlight and select Add Note from the dropdown menu. To make a comment not tied to any particular text, select Note from the dropdown menu.
