In iOS 17 and later, you can now embed PDF documents inline in your notes in the Notes app. You can annotate and draw on them using the markup tools. Simply scan a paper document into Notes by pressing the three dots on the toolbar and selecting Scan Document. Hold your phone above the document to scan it and place it in your note. You can then use markup tools to edit the scanned document without opening the PDF itself, making it easy to organize and reference information.
