On your computer, open a document, spreadsheet, or presentation. Click the comment you want to close. In the top corner of the comment, click Resolve.
Resolving comments will fade them out, but theyre still immediately visible. Deleting comments will remove them entirely.
Turn on Track Changes to show edits made in a document, and use Show Markup to show the types of revisions youd like to display. Select Review Track Changes to turn it on. Make edits in your document and Word captures any edits you make. Select Review Track Changes to turn it off.
Print multiple pages on a sheet Click File Print. Under Settings, click One page per sheet, and then choose Multiple pages per sheet in the list. Click Print.
To view all comments, including all resolved comments, open the Comments pane by clicking Comments in the ribbon. You can interact with comments in the Comments pane the same as you would in the contextual view. If you reopen a resolved comment, it will be visible again in the contextual view.
Open the print dialog by pressing Ctrl + P . In the General tab, choose Pages from the Range section. Type the numbers of the pages you want to print in the text box, separated by commas. Use a dash to denote a range of pages.
Resolving a comment allows you to mark the comment as finished. This approach helps the original writer better track whats been changed and helps the reviewer see how recommended changes were implemented. When you resolve a comment in Word, a record of the comment is preserved.
On your computer, open a document, spreadsheet, or presentation. Click the comment you want to close. In the top corner of the comment, click Resolve.
To print consecutive pages like 1 -3, select Custom Print and enter the first and last page numbers in the Pages box. To print individual pages and a range of pages (like page 3, and pages 4-6) at the same time, select Custom Print, and enter the page numbers and ranges separated by commas (e.g. 3, 4-6).
The comment will remain in the sidebar, but it will be grayed out to show the comment has been resolved.
