How to put footnote contract

After watching this video, you will know how to insert footnotes and endnotes in Word and how to change the style of these notes. Inserting a footnote is quite easy. We click into text, at the position where we want to insert the reference to the footnote. Then we go to the References tab and click on Insert Footnotes. As we can see, Word will automatically insert a line at the end of the page and also the number 1 since it is our first footnote. Here we can now write our referencing text. When we go back to the content, we can see that the referencing number is also inserted where we first placed our cursor. Of course, we can insert more footnotes on a single page. Word will simply make room for them at the end of the page. Inserting an endnote works the same way. We again click into the text, where we want the reference to the endnote to be inserted. Then we click on Insert Endnote and Word will place the endnote directly under the text. Lets now look at how we can customize

Schedules should be identified by a number or letter. In the agreement, the number serves as the identifier (and both the chosen reference word (schedule, annex etc.) and the number should be marked).
Does a contract have to be in writing? No, a contract usually does not have to be in writing to be legally enforced, and you can enforce a verbal agreement if both parties intended to be bound by it.
Simply list the page number of the contract and the relevant section. In some circumstances, you may need to directly quote the contract in a letter instead of just making a reference. Quoting a contract can be useful if the contract includes complex language or is very long.
Footnotes appear at the bottom of the page and endnotes come at the end of the document. A number or symbol on the footnote or endnote matches up with a reference mark in the document.
Usually, footnotes appear at the bottom of the page, while endnotes come at the end of the document or section.
I recommend that you never use footnotes in a contract. Just say in a regular provision whatever needs saying. Using a footnote to suggest that whats in the footnote is of lesser significance is analogous to using the phrase in particular to highlight a provision (see MSCD 13.343).
Footnotes should be placed on the same page as their accompanying text. Footnote numbers are placed in superscript, usually at the end of the sentence. If you are referring to a word, place the footnote number directly after the word.
Go to the Insert menu and click Footnote to open the Footnote and Endnote box. Select the options you want in the Footnote and Endnote box. You can choose between footnotes and endnotes, numbering format, custom marks and symbols, a starting number, and whether to apply the numbering to the whole document.
Revised on June 7, 2022. Footnotes are notes placed at the bottom of the page in a piece of academic writing and indicated in the text with superscript numbers (or sometimes letters or other symbols). Footnote numbers are usually placed at the end of the relevant clause or sentence.
Formatting Guidelines Footnotes are numbered notes that appear at the bottom of each page of your paper. Endnotes are formatted exactly the same as footnotes, but appear at the end of your paper, in one long list.
