all right YouTube so to make this short I created an example secure PDF as you can see I can try to edit copy cut and paste and nothing works Ive run into this a few times and really needed to be able to modify something for you have to thats why youre here so go ahead and close that window once youve run into that problem open up Google Chrome have your file destination ready and drag that file right into Google itll pull up the preview window youll simply click on print in the right-hand corner and make sure your destination is save as PDF were gonna hit save rename the file because you never want to overwrite an original just never a good thing to do now weve got that new file we just saved looks exactly like the original that we couldnt modify only now the security settings have been overridden and we are good to go thats all there is to it no scams no spam no websites so if this was helpful be sure and give it a like check out my other channel subscribe thanks for watchi

Here are 4 steps to edit a read-only or password-locked PDF on docHub Pro: Step 1: Open docHub and Upload the Read-Only PDF. First, in your Acrobat dashboard, click on Edit a PDF. Step 2: Remove the Password Lock. Step 3: Editing the PDF on docHub. Step 4: Save the PDF.
Method 1: Use docHub to Add Password Protection Open the PDF in docHub Reader. Click on File and select Protect Using Password. Choose whether you want to restrict editing and printing or just restrict opening the document. Enter a password, and confirm it. Save the document.
How to remove read-only PDF restrictions. Upload your read-only PDF file to Acrobat to edit. If the file is protected, make sure you have the password information, then select Tools Protect Encrypt Remove Security. Then you can edit. Save your file.
Read-only means you can only view or print. In some cases, this is for added security, such as when you are opening files from the internet, and other times, it can be due to a setting that can be changed.
