[Music] hello im omar and in this video i will show you how you can prevent copying content from a pdf file lets say that you are giving a presentation or you are having a research and you want to share the document with people but when you convert it to a pdf it can still be copied so how can we prevent copying the content from a pdf file lets go and see how we can do that so here i have this document which talks about the solar system and as you see its a pdf file but if i select the text and press ctrl c i can still copy it i will go into word and here i can paste it as you can see but how can i prevent copying from a pdf file so i will go into the pdf then here from file i will go into print printer is microsoft print to pdf and in the advanced i will make sure to check the print as image option here and ill press ok then i will print it and i will name it protected pdf file now if i go into the folder you can see this is a protected pdf file and as you can see its now printe

The Permissions setting controls restrictions that can be placed on the PDF file. To prevent the text and graphics from being copied from the PDF file, uncheck the Allow text and graphics to be copied option. You must always enter a master password when security options are enabled.
The only way to prevent a PDF from being converted to Word is to use PDF DRM software. While you can password protect a PDF, once a user has been given the open password they can easily remove any restrictions and do what they want with it.
Stamp such as Copy and Private are printed on the entire page. By printing text such as Copy or Private as a visible stamp, you can deter unauthorized copying.
Double-click the files location on your computers hard drive to open it with Acrobat. In Acrobat, select File from the menu. Select Export to from the File menu. You can choose Microsoft Word from the drop-down menu. Choose Word Document If youd like to rename the file, click Save.
Check default program settings: Right-click on a PDF file on your computer and select Open With from the context menu. Choose Choose another app or Open With Choose default program. Make sure that Microsoft Word is not selected as the default program for opening PDFs.
On Windows, just follow these steps: Right-click your PDF. Select Properties. Choose Read-only. Click OK.
From Within docHub Click the Tools pane then the Protection panel in docHub. Choose Encrypt, then click the option to Encrypt With Password. From the Permissions pane, you can check boxes that will disable copying, editing and printing.
Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
