This is something you could do in Excel but in Numbers you could only lock entire tables. In the spreadsheet manager, click Recently Deleted in the sidebar. Move the pointer over a spreadsheet or folder, click the More button on the thumbnail, then choose Recover. The selected item moves back to its former location in the spreadsheet manager (under Browse and Recents).
Revert to your last opened or last saved version With the current version of your spreadsheet open, choose File Revert To (from the File menu at the top of your screen), then choose one of the following (you may not see all of these options): Click Restore or Done.
Recover recently deleted items In the spreadsheet manager, click Recently Deleted in the sidebar. Move the pointer over a spreadsheet or folder, click the More button on the thumbnail, then choose Recover.
With the current version of your spreadsheet open, choose File Revert To Browse All Versions (from the File menu at the top of your screen). The timeline for the spreadsheet opens. The current version appears in the window on the left. Earlier versions appear in the window on the right.
For Previous Version: Step 1: Recover Previous Version. To recover the previous version, open the spreadsheet file and click on the tool button. Click on Browse All Versions. Step 2: Select Version History. In Version History, the current and previous versions of the file will be displayed.
Choose File Set Password (from the File menu at the top of your screen), enter the requested information, then click Set Password. If your computer isnt set up for Touch ID, Remember this password in my keychain appears.
Open the spreadsheet, click the More button in the toolbar, then choose Browse All Versions. In the Version History list, select the spreadsheet you want to restore. If youre not sure which version you want to restore, select a spreadsheet, then click Preview.
Lock or unlock a spreadsheet Click the spreadsheet name at the top of the window, then select or deselect the Locked checkbox.
