Line, the instant messaging app, has updated its mobile application for Android and iOS with a new feature called Letter Sealing. The feature enables end-to-end encryption (E2EE) to prevent the personal conversation of users from going into the wrong hands.
LINE employs various encryption technologies to protect user information. In addition to transport layer encryption, which is used to protect traffic between LINE clients and servers, we also apply Letter Sealing encryption to supported message types and voice/video calls.
As part of our efforts to strengthen the apps security, weve made it so this setting can no longer be turned off.
Right-click the paragraph that you want to keep together. In the box that opens, select Paragraph. In the Paragraph dialog box, click the Line and Page Breaks tab. In the Pagination section, select the Keep lines together check box, and click OK.
