okay so here is my pdf file that i want to password protect which as youll know if you try to password protect it in the free docHub reader youre prompted to pay for the full version of docHub however its a little known fact that you can password protect a pdf without having to pay docHubs premium subscription or without having to a free office suite like libra which as an aside is an excellent free alternative to microsoft office all you have to do is use docHubs free online tools which you can access by googling docHub pdf online and clicking on this result for pdf online docHub clicking on the link will take you to this screen now the secret is to ignore all this stuff at the top of the page which is basically just docHub offering you a free trial of their premium acrobat software instead scroll down below the fold to this area here where youll find many of their premium features available as free online tools and the one we want is here at the end protect pdf click

What do I do after uploading the PDF to Google Drive? Right-click on the uploaded PDF file, select Open with Google Docs. This will open the PDF file in Google Docs, which will automatically remove the password protection.
Steps to remove PDF password on Mac: Download the PDF file to your Mac. Open Finder, locate the file, and double-click to open it. Enter the password to unlock the file. Click on File, then choose Export as PDF. Enter a name, set the destination, and click Save to remove the password requirement.
