In this video, you will learn how to disable PDF printing by using a PDF writer. First, locate the document you want to protect in Windows Explorer, right-click on it, and choose "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, go to the printing and viewing tab, and ensure the "allowed printing" checkbox is deselected. Click "publish," and a protection status window will confirm the success. The protected document will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with Lock Lizard Secure PDF viewer. Printing will be disabled, as indicated by a greyed-out print icon.
