Although the printer might be correctly configured to print in Portrait mode, the program itself might be configured to print in Landscape mode. These settings are typically adjusted by locating a Page Setup or Page Layout menu and then looking for Orientation.
Restrict printing, editing, and copying Open the PDF in Acrobat, and do one of the following: If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Restrict editing and printing of the document. Type the password in the corresponding field. Select what the user can print from the Printing allowed menu:
Change the page orientation for a document Click or tap in the document. Go to Layout Orientation, and then select Landscape. Go to File Print. Under Settings, make sure the orientation box says Landscape Orientation. Select Print.
Change the page orientation when you are ready to print Click File Print. In the Page Orientation drop-down box, under Settings, click Portrait Orientation or Landscape Orientation. When you are ready to print, click Print.
Choose File Print. In the Page Handling area of the Print dialog box, deselect Auto-Rotate And Center. Click the Page Setup button in the lower-left corner of the Print dialog box. Select the new page orientation and click OK.
Access print options available in legacy Microsoft Edge Open the system Print dialog box, as described in the section above. In the Select Printer list, select your printer. Select Preferences. In the Layout and Paper/Quality tabs, choose the options you want. Select OK, and then select Print.
Select Settings from the drop down and click on Site permissions from the left pane. Scroll down and click on PDF documents, Toggle the switch to On for Always open PDF files externally.
Reader or Acrobat 10. x (Windows) Choose File Print. In the Page Handling area of the Print dialog box, deselect Auto-Rotate And Center. Click the Page Setup button in the lower-left corner of the Print dialog box. Select the new page orientation and click OK. Click OK to print.
