Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own electronic signature that you could use to insert into documents. Lets say for instance, you have to sign a document. Well, today you could print out that document, then you could sign it, then you could scan it in again, and then you could send it off. But thats a lot of work. It wastes paper and you need to have a printer. I dont even have a printer. Today Im going to show you how you could create an electronic signature, two different ways. One of them is using your phone where you sign your signature on the phone, and then well bring that onto our PC, so itll be digital all the way. The second technique, were going to sign our name, take a high quality photo of it, and then well bring that into the PC. So, Ill show you those two different ways. The quickest way to fix this is to use a higher resolution image in your email signature, and scale the image down using the HTML height and width attributes. For example, if the resolution of your image is 360 x 360 pixels, you should use 1/3 of that resolution in the height and width attributes.
How to do it Follow the instructions located here to create a signature using Preview on your Mac. Using Preview, open the PDF document that you need to sign. Using the Sign button, add your signature to the document. Drag your signature image over the signature line and use the text tool to add the date (if required).

One of the symbols to indicate an electronic signature is /s/, placed before the signers name. For example, /s/ Jimmy Doe. The other symbol is the signers name between two forward slashes, typed out, for example, as /Jimmy Doe/.
Use a scanner to create a high-resolution scan of your signature, if your scanner has the option, set for maximum dots per inch, often abbreviated as DPI. In the scanning software, crop the image to remove the excess white space. Save the resulting image as a PNG or JPG file.
