How to Distribute and Align Images in Word Select the objects you want to distribute or align together. Click the Format tab. Expand the Arrange group, if necessary. Click the Align button. Select an alignment or distribution option.
To position an image relative to a page, select the image and from the menu bar below it, select Fix position on page. To open the Image options sidebar, select the overflow menu (three dot), followed by All image options. To learn more about formatting images in Google Docs, see this article in our Help Center.
Select the object to select it. Select Format or Format Picture. In the document, drag the object where you want it. To fine-tune the pictures position, under Arrange, select Position, and then choose More Layout Options.
2. Fix Position on Page Click the Layout Options icon next to the image and select one of the options. You can choose any option except for In Line with Text, which is the default setting for all images. Open the Layout tab. Select the image. From the Arrange menu, click Wrap Text. Select Fix Position on Page.
Anchors is used to position an image in document.
Click the image icon and insert the image. Click the image that appears in the body of the email. Then click the A icon in the email editor. Then align the image to the left, center or to the right using the align icon.
Hold down Shift and use the mouse or touchpad to select the objects that you want to align. Select Shape Format or Picture Format. Select Align. If you dont see Align on the Shape Format tab, select Arrange, and then choose Align.
To size all images to the same height and width: Right click first image, open Size and Position box (or open box from the Picture - Format - Size box. Disable Lock Aspect Ratio Change height and width to desired size. Close box. Click on next image and hit F4.
