Got questions?

Below are some common questions from our customers that may provide you with the answer you're looking for. If you can't find an answer to your question, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Click the chart, and then click the Chart Design tab. Click Add Chart Element Chart Title, and then click the title option that you want. Type the title in the Chart Title box. To format the title, select the text in the title box, and then on the Home tab, under Font, select the formatting that you want.
The main title should be descriptive, and tell the trend of the data or highlight the main story. Try to limit the number of words to no more than 10. This should make the description easier to read and avoid the text wrapping onto several lines, especially on mobile devices.
The easiest way to change the Y-axis title in base R plot is by using the ylab argument where we can simply type in the title. But the use of ylab does not help us to make changes in the axis title hence it is better to use mtext function, using which we can change the font size, position etc.
How to add a chart title We will select Chart Title alongside the position we want. When we choose the Centered Overlay option, it might insert the title at the top of the chart without resizing it. We will click inside the Title box, highlight the Chart Title and start typing the name we wish for our chart.
Adding Titles and Legends Click anywhere on your chart; the Chart Layout and Format tabs should appear. After selecting Chart Layout, click Axes to add a title on the X and Y axes and click Legend to make changes to the legend.
To properly label a graph, you should identify which variable the x-axis and y-axis each represent. Dont forget to include units of measure (called scale) so readers can understand each quantity represented by those axes. Finally, add a title to the graph, usually in the form y-axis variable vs. x-axis variable.
The ChartTitle is a content control placed at the top of each chart control. It is used to display any title information regarding the visualized chart.
