Ill sign off by showing you some pair of pandas. We are about to plot two columns simultaneously on one graph. That is close and adjusted close for the Apple stock. Dont worry about how to extract multiple columns from the data frame. But intuitively you use a double square brackets and pass the two column names, that is Close and Adj Close. We go ahead and plot this. Heres the graph. You can observe two lines. One is blue, which corresponds to Close; and one is green, which corresponds to Adj Close. Observe that we did not write code to print the legend, or give color to each of the graph lines. This is the pair of the Python pandas. The blue line corresponds to the close value, and the green line corresponds to the adjusted close values. You will learn in the further lesson why there is a difference. Thats all for now, Ill see you in the next lesson. Happy coding.

Wall-coated open tubular (WCOT) columns are the most widely-used variety of capillary column and consist of a liquid stationary phase coated directly onto the inside of the column, usually a fused silica tube with a protective outer coating of polyimide.
Answer and Explanation: PLOT Columns: A PLOT column is an open tubular column with the interior surface covered with a layer of the porous support. It is used for GSC separations. WCOT Columns: WCOT columns are capillary columns with inner surfaces coated with a thin film of liquid stationary phase. SCOT Columns:
There are two broad classes of chromatographic columns: packed columns and capillary columns. In general, a packed column can handle larger samples and a capillary column can separate more complex mixtures.
Polar columns most effectively separate polar compounds. Non-polar compounds are generally composed only of carbon and hydrogen atoms and contain carbon-carbon single bonds. Non-polar capillary columns separate these compounds very well.
SCOT: This stands for Support-Coated Open Tubular columns. It doesnt include a direct coating of stationary phase on the walls. Instead, there is a support material, such as diatomaceous earth, lined on the walls of the column. The stationary phase gets absorbed by this material.
Gas chromatography (GC): Older columns were made of glass or metal packed with particles of a solid stationary phase. More recently, narrower diameter (capillary) columns have been made using fused silica coated on the inside with a film of the stationary phase material.
Polar columns most effectively separate polar compounds. Non-polar compounds are generally composed only of carbon and hydrogen atoms and contain carbon-carbon single bonds. Non-polar capillary columns separate these compounds very well.
In SCOT columns, the column walls are first coated with a thin layer (about 30 micrometers thick) of adsorbant solid, such as diatomaceous earth, a material which consists of single-celled, sea-plant skeletons. The adsorbant solid is then treated with the liquid stationary phase.
Two types of columns are used in gas chromatography: packed columns and capillary columns.
The term support-coated open tubular (SCOT) columns refers to columns in which the wall has been coated with a mixture of finely divided microparticles, usually silicagel and alumina and a known amount of a liquid phase.
