Watermarks placed on images available in various formats such as JPG, and PNG should be anywhere between 500 pixels x 500 pixels and 1000 pixels x 1000 pixels. Make sure that the watermarks maintain their clarity and quality, especially if you need to scale up your watermark for your photos and graphics.
Use at least 50% Opacity The lower the opacity, the easier it is to remove the watermark and the less visible the artifacts will be. It is mostly better to use an opaque watermark rather over a small area than a translucent watermark over a large area.
If its too small, you lose clarity and quality and have to scale it up. A resized image between 500 and 1000 pixels on the wide side works for most watermarks.
Right-click the watermark with the crossed-arrow cursor, and then select Edit Text from the shortcut menu.
You can overlay a copyright image to almost any image as a watermark. If you save your images in high-quality PNG format, you can easily create a copyright watermark in PNG format for repeated use on your copyrighted images. Once you create the watermark, you can overlay it on top of your images as a new layer.
On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. Select OK.
Text watermark Double-click near the top of the page to open the header. Move the cursor over the watermark until you see the four-headed arrow, and then click the watermark to select it. Under WordArt Tools, select Format. Select Shape Fill. Try: Selecting a lighter or darker shade. Select OK.
YouTube watermark size: Your watermark should be transparent, square, and larger than 50x50 pixels, which is the size it will be shrunk down to when it appears in the corner of your videos.
Where possible, try to use a color for your logo or text which complements the rest of the photo. To speed this up for future photos, it is a good idea to create a Photoshop brush for your watermark. To do so, open your logo or name on a transparent background. Then visit Edit Define Brush Preset.
The ideal YouTube watermark size is 150 x 150 pixels. The best YouTube watermarks are square-shaped, smaller than 1 MB in size.
