Right-click and select [Copy]. Drag while holding the [Ctrl] key on the keyboard. If tool buttons are not displayed on the toolbar of Desktop Editor, see the following to display them. To paste the copied mail merge field, click (Paste) on the toolbar.
You can, of course, display the field code (Shift+F9), position the insertion point within the braces, carefully select all the characters except the closing brace, and then copy to the Clipboard.
