Well, imagine that you set up a spreadsheet and youre going to have other people filling it out, perhaps you only want them to fill out a cell with specific values and the drop-down list is the perfect way to make sure that people select from those specific values. Its actually very easy to set up and Im going to show you step by step how to do it so you too can create a drop-down list. All right. Well, enough talk. Lets jump on the PC. Under Insert controls, click Drop-Down List Box. Click Add. In the Value box, type the text that you want to store if a user selects this entry. In the Display name box, type the text that you want to display for this entry, and then click OK. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each entry that you want to add to the list box.

Select all of the text, and then on the Edit menu, click Copy. Place the insertion point below the last line of text, and then on the Edit menu, click Paste.
