in this tutorial we will see how to transfer data from row to column and column to row on this sheet i have some data where names are in rows and days are given in columns now i want to transfer names from row to column and base from column to rows along with the data so how to do this very quickly you can do this by using paste special feature in ms excel so lets see how we can do this for that i will select the data then i will copy the data to copy the data we can use the shortcut control plus c or in home tab we have copy i will click on copy then i will select any other cell where i want to paste this data but instead of pasting in a normal way i will use the paste special option so for that i will select in home time we have option paste i will click on this down arrow and we have the option paste special so i will click on paste special then we can see that there is a new window in this window i will select the option transpose so we will transpose our data i will click on ok
