hi in this video were going to show you how to create a password-protected pdf file from a microsoft word document so lets say you were working on some kind of a confidential thing or something you know non-disclosure agreement sample that i have here and you need to make a pdf and you put you want to add a password to it because you dont want to leave it as a word document where they get edited or do that kind of thing so to do that you just need to create a pdf but you dont want to do the print to pdf method you want to do an export instead from the file menu and then you want to create pdf and click on this create pdf button here and then at the bottom here youre going to have some options uh first you could check your you know standard for printing and publishing if you want to you know make it like a reduce the file size for email you can choose that but you want to pick options here and then at the bottom encrypt the document with a password and put the password at least six
