Open the PDF in Acrobat. Select Tools Protect Encrypt Remove Security. Your options vary depending on the type of password security attached to the document: If the document has a Document Open password, click OK to remove it from the document.
To password-protect your PDF documents, you will need docHub Reader Pro or docHub. The free version of docHub Reader does not have the necessary features to encrypt a PDF document.
You can set files to read-only mode through your operating systems basic tools. On Windows, just right-click your PDF and select Properties Read-only OK.
Add a password to docHub (pdf) Open the PDF and choose Tools Protect Encrypt Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
