This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable PDF printing by making the document secure. To do this, open Windows Explorer, locate the PDF file, right-click on it, and choose "Make Secure PDF" in the PDF writer. In the printing settings, ensure that the "allowed printing" checkbox is deselected. After publishing, the protected PDF will have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Lock Lizard Secure PDF viewer. Printing will be disabled, as indicated by the greyed-out print icon in the viewer. This effectively restricts printing access to the document.
