Examples of credentials include academic diplomas, academic degrees, certifications, security clearances, identification documents, badges, passwords, user names, keys, powers of attorney, and so on.
A Postgraduate Diploma is indicated by the post-nominals PgDip. Someone with a BA, MA and postgraduate diploma could write BA PgDip MA or (following the Oxford Calendars style) BA MA PgDip.
The degree class is not part of the post-nominal letters in any case. Put it on your CV, on your business card, but not your signature. I would stick to just BSc.
If you have a degree, start by listing the highest degree youve earned immediately after your name, such as a masters degree, bachelors degree or associate degree. If you have multiple degrees, you may choose to list only the highest degree you have earned since this often eclipses previous degrees.
How to order your credentials after your name Include your academic degrees. List your professional licenses. Add your state designations or requirements. Include your national certifications. List any other certifications you have.
Post-nominal letters should be listed in the following order: Civil honours. Military honours. Appointments (e.g. MP, QC) Higher Education awards (in ascending order, commencing with undergraduate) Membership of academic or professional bodies.
Academic degrees appear first, before certifications and other accomplishments. If you have multiple degrees, list them from highest to lowest. For instance, you could write MSN, BS, AS. Provide any professional licenses after degrees, then list your certifications in the order in which you received them.
List the highest education degree first, for example, Michael Anderson, PhD, MSN. In most cases, one degree is enough, but if your second degree is in another relevant field, you may choose to list it. For example, a nurse executive might choose Nancy Gordon, MBA, MSN, RN.
