How to Make a High Quality Scan Make sure there isnt a copy already available. Check your scanner setting before you begin scanning. Make sure the document or book is aligned with the scanner to prevent crooked, unaligned pages. Crop your scanned paged pages. Prep the pages text content.
Open the website or app and log in to your account. Upload the document you want to upgrade the resolution of. You can do this by clicking on the Upload button and selecting the file from your computer or cloud storage. Once the document is uploaded, click on the Upgrade Resolution option.
To change the settings: Go to File Options Advanced Image Size and Quality. Apply the image size and quality settings to the current document or to all new documents. Click Do not compress images in file. For default resolution, select High fidelity.
If necessary, rescan the document using the Scan OCR Recognize Text tool to improve the output. Enhance image quality. If the scanned PDF contains low-quality images, use the Enhance scanned file or Enhance camera image feature to improve the quality of images before attempting to edit the document.
Try these few simple steps first: Use the flatbed scanner rather than the document feeder. Use high-quality originals. When using the document feeder, load the original document into the feeder correctly, using the paper guides, to avoid unclear or skewed images.
Optimize a PDF (Acrobat Pro) Open a PDF in Acrobat. From the hamburger menu (Windows) or the File menu (macOS), select Save As Other Reduced Size PDF. Choose the location to save the file and select Save. Acrobat displays a message showing the successful reduction in PDF size.
