In this video, we show how to disable PDF printing by using a PDF writer tool. First, locate the PDF file in Windows Explorer, right-click on it, and choose "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, select the printing and viewing tab, and ensure the "Allowed Printing" checkbox is deselected. Click "Publish" to confirm the protection status, and now the PDF file is saved with a .pdc extension, indicating it is a protected file. This protected PDF can only be opened with the Locklizard Secure PDF Viewer, and printing is disabled, as shown by the greyed-out print icon on the viewer.
