This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable printing in a PDF file using a PDF writer. To protect the document, right-click on the PDF in Windows Explorer, choose "Make Secure PDF," and deselect the "Allowed Printing" checkbox in the Printing and Viewing tab. Click "Publish" to confirm the protection status succeeded. The protected document will have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing will be disabled, as evidenced by the greyed-out print icon in the Secure Viewer. This restricts printing using keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+P.
