This tutorial demonstrates how to disable printing in a PDF document. To protect the document, open Windows Explorer, right-click on the PDF, and select "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, go to the printing and viewing tab and ensure that the allowed printing checkbox is deselected. Click "Publish" to confirm the protection status. The protected document will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the LockLizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled, as indicated by the greyed-out print icon in the viewer. This effectively prevents any printing of the document.
