XFA forms are saved internally in PDF files or as XDP (XML Data Package) files which can be opened in docHubs LiveCycle Designer software.
Solution In Firefox, choose Tools Options. In the Options dialog, click Applications. In the Applications tab, type PDF in the search field. For Portable Document Format (PDF) content type in the search result, select Use docHub (in Firefox) from the Action drop-down list. Click OK. Restart Firefox.

Therefore, XFA-based PDF forms do not open and will prompt you to upgrade your docHub PDF Reader to the latest version in later versions of these browsers.
To convert XFA PDF to normal PDF, click the Print button, on the Print window that opens, tick Print as Image, and click Print. The XFA form will be converted to a PDF file that you can open with any PDF reader.
