Google Chrome has added support for XFA-based PDF forms in its PDF document viewer. XFA forms are embedded inside PDF documents and allow users to enter data into different fields. However, the data cannot be saved in the form itself, so it must be printed for future reference. If your PDF viewer in Google Chrome cannot display XFA PDF documents, you will receive an error message.

There is no way to edit XFA forms directly in Acrobat Pro. You need to separately purchase a license for LiveCycle Designer.
docHub uses the term XFA PDF form to refer to the interactive and dynamic Forms you create with AEM Forms Designer. The Forms and files you create with Designer are based on docHubs XML Forms Architecture (XFA).
To convert XFA PDF to normal PDF, click the Print button, on the Print window that opens, tick Print as Image, and click Print. The XFA form will be converted to a PDF file that you can open with any PDF reader.
XFA forms are saved internally in PDF files or as XDP (XML Data Package) files which can be opened in docHubs LiveCycle Designer software.
The built-in PDF viewer introduced with Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Apple Safari and Google Chrome do not support XFA-based PDF forms. Therefore, XFA-based PDF forms do not open and will prompt you to upgrade your docHub PDF Reader to the latest version in later versions of these browsers.
