Evince (also known as Document Viewer) is the default PDF viewer on Ubuntu 22.04 GNOME Desktop. If you are using GNOME, then this application should already be installed on your system.
Use Ubuntus Dash Run Command Press Alt-F2 to open a command line prompt within Unity. Type the command for Evince with your PDF files name, file extension and its full path relative to the Home directory. For instance, if your PDF file is named wages. Press the Enter key to open the PDF file.
