This tutorial teaches how to sign out a controlled document in OpenText Extended ECM for Engineering. You can sign out a document from a Master Document Workspace to a Project Workspace. Master Document Workspace contains documents classified with document types, and revision control is applied based on the workspace and classification. To register a controlled document, navigate to Master Document Workspace, search for relevant keywords, select non-controlled documents, apply facet filter, and click Control document on the command menu. The document will be registered as a controlled document with a revision control definition.
