whether you want to upload your photos to Instagram without cropping or without adding those ugly borders heres how to do it select the crop tool in Photoshop and set the aspect ratio to one is to 1 for square or 4 is to 5 for portrait make sure you uncheck delete cropped pixels expand the crop then choose the magic wand tool and simply click on both the gaps on either side of the extension now go to edit content aware fill make sure output is set to current layer and then play with these settings and see what works best for your image hit OK press Ctrl or command D to deselect and youre done if you see some repeating patterns you can easily replace that with the patch tool now when you upload it just wont crop unless you want to of course
