To skip slide numbers on hidden slides in PowerPoint, from the PPT Productivity ribbon click Slide Number and Slide Totals. This opens the Slide Number and Slide Totals pop-out. From this window, check the Skip slide numbers on hidden slides checkbox and click Apply All.
