In this video you are going to learn how to remove comments in Word and you are also going to learn how to keep the comments but only hide them. If you want to remove only a single comment, click on the comment you want to delete, go to the Review tab and in the section Comments click on delete. If you have multiple comments and you want to remove all comments at once, click on the dropdown arrow under the delete button and then click on Delete all comments in Document. If you dont want to delete the comments but rather hide them, then go to the section called Tracking and in the dropdown menu choose Original. You can also manage this from the Review ribbon. On the Changes section, use the Accept dropdown and click Accept All Changes. At any time you can click Track Changes on the same ribbon tab to enable or disable the tracking.

To move a comment, follow these steps: Make sure you are viewing your document in Draft view. Highlight the comment mark for the comment you want to move. Press Ctrl+X. Position the insertion point at the location where you want the comment moved. Press Ctrl+V.
The comment can be preserved only by keeping at least one character of the anchor text, either in place or by dragging it to another paragraph that will remain.
Remove comments from a Word document To delete a single comment in the document, right-click the comment, and choose Delete Comment. To delete all the comments in the document, go to the Review tab, click the down-arrow on Delete, and choose Delete All Comments in Document.
How do I set a document to display no markup? Go to File Options Trust Center Trust Center Settings Privacy Options. On the Review tab, be sure the top right dropdown in the Tracking group is set to No Markup and save the document.
