In this video, the tutorial demonstrates how to encrypt a PDF document using Nuance Power PDF. If you do not have Nuance Power PDF, you can install it using the Oxford installer program or request a free copy from your IT department. To encrypt the PDF, go to the security section, change the security method to password security, and select strong AES-256 encryption. Set the document to only open with a password, enter a strong password of at least 12 characters, confirm it, and you are done.
At DocHub, your data security is our priority. We follow HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, and other standards, so you can work on your documents with confidence.
