How to Get Rid of Red Lines in PowerPoint Start PowerPoint. Select Proofing in the left pane. Clear the Check Spelling as You Type check box under When Correcting Spelling in PowerPoint. Click OK to apply the changes and close the dialog box.
Select redaction type from Redact dropdown (text, metadata). Select your PPT document for redaction. Enter Text search value and Redaction replace value. Click on Redact Now button to upload and redact your PPT file.
Click the File tab to go to Backstage view, then click Options. A dialog box will appear. Select Proofing, then check the box next to Hide spelling errors in this document only and Hide grammar errors in this document only, then click OK.
On the Review tab of the Ribbon, select the arrow on the Editor Settings button. On the menu that appears, select Hide Proofing Errors.
To selectively edit or remove data, click File Info Properties. Click Show All Properties. Delete or edit information.
Heres how. Click File Options Proofing, clear the Check spelling as you type box, and click OK. To turn spell check back on, repeat the process and select the Check spelling as you type box. To check spelling manually, click Review Spelling Grammar.
Select any slide. In the Header and Footer dialog box, click the Notes and Handouts tab, clear the boxes for the options you want to remove from the header or footer. Select Apply to All.
