Select the shape. Click the Drawing Tools Format, Drawing Format or Shape Format tab in the Ribbon and select Shape Fill. A drop-down menu appears. From the menu, select No Fill.
Insert or remove slide numbers Go to View Normal. Go to Insert Slide Number. Select Slide Number and enter the starting slide number. Preview shows the location. To add or remove the slide number from just the title page, clear or select Dont show on title slide. Select Apply to all or Apply.
Click the View tab, and then click Handout Master in the Presentation Views group. In the Placeholders group on the ribbon, clear the check box of the item (Header, Date, Footer, or Page Number) that you want to turn off.
Add page numbers to slides and notes On the Insert tab, click Header Footer . In the Header and Footer box, on the Slide tab, select the Slide number check box, and then in the Starts at box, type the page number that you want to start with on the first slide. Click Apply to All.
Remove slide numbers from your presentation On the Insert tab, select Slide Number. On the Slide tab, clear the box named Slide number. Select Apply to All.
To skip slide numbers on hidden slides in PowerPoint, from the PPT Productivity ribbon click Slide Number and Slide Totals. This opens the Slide Number and Slide Totals pop-out. From this window, check the Skip slide numbers on hidden slides checkbox and click Apply All.
Click the page number text box, which is by default on the bottom right of the slide, and press the Delete key on the keyboard. Note that this will remove all page numbers that the slide master applies to the slides.
Select the slide from which you want to remove the page number. Select Insert ▸ Header and Footer. Uncheck Slide number. Select Apply to change only the current slide.
