This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable printing in a PDF file to protect its content. To do this, open Windows Explorer and right-click on the PDF document, then select "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, go to the printing and viewing tab and make sure the allowed printing checkbox is deselected. Click "Publish" to confirm the protection status. The protected document will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Locklizard Secure PDF viewer. Printing will be disabled in the document, as indicated by the greyed-out print icon in the viewer.
