To hide comments in the markup area using Display for Review: Click the Review tab in the Ribbon. In the Tracking group, click Display for Review. A drop-down menu appears. Select No Markup or Original to hide the markup area, including comments.
As always, Word has default style for comments.Method 1: Use Shortcuts To begin with, put insertion pointer at the start of the first comment text. Next press Ctrl+ Shift+ End. You will see all comment texts are in selection then. Then go to change the formatting as you like.
Displaying Document Comments Make sure the Review tab of the ribbon is displayed. In the Tracking group you see the Reviewing Pane tool. Click the down-arrow at the right of the tool. Choose either Reviewing Pane Vertical or Reviewing Pane Horizontal, ing to your desires.
To move a comment, follow these steps: Make sure you are viewing your document in Draft view. Highlight the comment mark for the comment you want to move. Press Ctrl+X. Position the insertion point at the location where you want the comment moved. Press Ctrl+V.
Select Ctrl + C to copy all the comments. Alternately, you can right-click on any of the selected comments and then select Copy. 10. Open a new Word file or an existing Word file where you would like to paste the comments.
Highlight the comment mark for the comment you want to move. Press Ctrl+X. The comment mark and the associated comment are removed from your document and copied to the Clipboard. Position the insertion point at the location where you want the comment moved.
Remove comments Select a comment. On the Review tab, go to Comments. Select Delete.
Inserting Comments Click the Review tab and choose . Type the comment text in the comment balloon. To return to the document click in the document text. As with Track Changes, each person who comments, appears in a different colour.
