To correct a charge in Opera's cashiering module, go to Billing, search for the guest's folio, and select the transaction to adjust. Use the Adjustment feature to modify transactions by highlighting or marking multiple postings, then right-click to select Adjust Transaction. There are three options for adjusting postings: adjust by selected postings, adjust by transaction/routing codes, or adjust all postings for a specific code. For example, you can apply a 20% discount to all telephone charges on the folio. Opera will total all postings for the selected adjustment.
