Text Editor is a free app that allows you to create, open, and edit text files on your computer and Google Drive. All standard text editor features are supported, including syntax highlighting, font size, word wrap, tabs and spaces, printing, undo/redo, keyboard shortcuts, and more.
Annotate PDFs on Android On your Android device, open the Google Drive app. To enter preview mode, open the PDF that youd like to annotate. In the bottom right-hand corner, tap the annotate button . If you select a text file in a file manager or similar app you will be offered the option of using this editor along with whatever other apps you have installed that can show or edit a text file. Option 1: Edit Office files on your device If you havent yet, download the Office file to your device. In laptop mode: Select the Launcher Up arrow. In tablet mode: Go to your Home screen. Find your file, and double-click or tap it to open. Edit your file.
If you cant edit a file, a few things could be wrong: The file owner didnt give you permission to view the file. Youre signed in to a different Google Account. Someone else with edit access removed your permission to edit.
To edit a document: On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. To select a word, double-click it or use your cursor to select the text you want to change. Start editing. To undo or redo an action, at the top, click Undo. or Redo. .
